What is Lourdes Starry Night?

Lourdes Starry Night was a new fundraiser for the school for the 2014/2015 school year and was a huge success!  We are looking forward to another successfull fundraiser this year.  Lourdes Catholic School hosts one annual fundraiser each year to benefit the school in a variety of ways to continue its excellence in Faith and Academics.  We encourage adults to attend for an evening full of food, fun and fellowship.  There will be a silent auction, live auction, opportunity to buy raffle tickets, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, wine pull, music and MORE!  We ask that every family prayerfully consider how they can support the fundraiser. Whether it's through becoming a sponsor, donating an auction item or volunteering your time to help, it is our goal that every family will play an integral part to make this night a success!

 

Who can attend?

This is an evening of fun for adults - everyone is welcome to attend this event!  Lourdes Catholic School's students, faculty and staff are thankful to all who support the fundraiser to benefit the school. 

How and when can I register?

Registration information will be sent home with students on January 21st and online registration officially begins January 21, 2020.  Register online by March 25, 2020 (early bird discounted pricing available through March 11th) OR print the Starry Night Registration Form, complete and and return the completed form in your child's folder if you have a student that attends LCS, via mail, or in person to the Lourdes Catholic School front office (with cash or check enclosed), 1453 Mississippi Blvd, Bettendorf, IA 52722.  Registration forms are due by Wednesday, March 25, 2020.  After March 25th, walk-in registrations are certainly welcome at the event.

Where is the fundraiser located?

This year's fundraiser will be at Tanglewood Pavilion, 4250 Middle Road, Bettendorf, IA 52722.  

What will take place the night of the fundraiser?

There will be a silent auction, live auction, hors d'oeuvres, wine pull, music, dancing and MORE!  

Are food and beverages included with the price of registration of the event?

Yes, heavy hors d’oeuvres will be available throughout the evening.  Select beverages will be provided at no charge throughout the evening and additional beverages will be available for purchase. 

What is the attire for the evening?

All attire is welcome!  We want this to be a fun, casual evening for all.

What are this year's raffle items?

This year we will be raffling a total of $1,500 in SCRIP gift cards from National & Local vendors.  On March 28th, we will draw the names of 5 lucky people who will each win $300 in gift cards (need not be present to win).

When will students receive information on selling raffle tickets?

Students attending Lourdes Catholic School received information in their folders regarding selling raffle tickets in January.  There will be a Pep Assembly to kick-off raffle sales and announce prizes that will be awarded to the top raffle ticket sellers.  The Fundraiser Committee encourages all students to sell as many as possible; however, each family is asked to sell at least $40 in raffle tickets.  The winner's will be announced live during the evening of the fundraiser on March 28, 2020 (need not be present to win).  View complete details regarding raffle tickets.

How can I purchase raffle tickets?
