Lourdes Starry Night 2022 

Lourdes Catholic School hosts one annual fundraiser each year to benefit the school in a variety of ways to continue its excellence in Faith and Academics.  Lourdes Starry Night was a new fundraiser for the 2014/2015 school year and was a huge success!  We are looking forward to another successful fundraiser this year. 

 

We encourage adults to participate in the virtual silent auction this year, and to share the website and virtual auction items with friends and family!  We are excited to announce our in-person event is back this year including a live auction, silent auction for K-8 classroom art projects, dinner and drinks.  We hope you can join us for an evening of fun and fellowship!

VIRTUAL SILENT AUCTION - MONDAY MARCH 21st - FRIDAY MARCH 25th
 
When does the virtual silent auction go live?

The auction will open for bidding on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 12 PM CT.  

 
When does the virtual silent auction end?

The auction will close at 10 PM CT on Friday, March 25, 2022.

Is there an in person event this year?  

Yes! Although the silent auction is virtual, we would still love for you to join us for an in-person event on Saturday, March 26th!  See complete details below.

Can I preview items before the virtual auction goes live?

Yes! Items will be posted soon to Bidding Owl. The Starry Night Fundraiser Committee is busy finalizing auction items, please check back often to preview new and exciting items up for grabs! 

How do I participate in the virtual auction?
  • Go to Bidding Owl to Register for bidding.  

  • New users will need to select 'Register' to create an account.  Don’t forget to check the box to receive email & text notifications when you have been outbid!

  • Return users will simply need to select 'Login' and enter their email/password 

  • Interested in bidding?  Select the item to view complete details and bid on the item!​  Please keep in mind that all items will be in preview mode (bidding is not an option) until March 21st at 12 PM CT.

 
How do I know if I won an item that I bid on and how do I pay?

Winners will be notified by email after the auction closes at 10 PM on Friday, March 25th.  The email will contain a link to checkout/pay by credit card or PayPal.  Payment by cash or check is preferred (checks made out to Lourdes Home and School).

I was notified I was a winner of an auction item(s).  How do I pick up my auction item(s)?

Winners can pick up auction items (and pay by cash/check or credit card) at Tanglewood Hills Pavilion, 4250 Middle Rd, Bettendorf, on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 10 AM - 2 PM or during the in person event that evening, beginning at 6 PM.  If you are unable to pickup your auction items, please contact the Starry Night committee at LCSStarryNight@gmail.com or 563-940-7811 to schedule a delivery time.  If you won an item and are not local, we can discuss the best delivery method.

STARRY NIGHT IN-PERSON EVENT - SATURDAY MARCH 26th

When is the in-person event?

The in-person event is Saturday, March 26th at Tanglewood Pavilion, 4250 Middle Rd., Bettendorf IA.  Doors open at 6:00 PM.  Registration for the event is $40 per person if purchased by March 11th ($50/person after this date).

Who can attend?

This is an evening of fun for adults - everyone is welcome to attend!  Lourdes Catholic School's students, faculty and staff are thankful to all who support the fundraiser to benefit the school.  

 

How and when can I register?

Registration information will be sent home with students in February. Online registration officially begins February 15, 2022.  Register online by March 23, 2022 (early bird discounted pricing available through March 11th) OR print the Starry Night Registration Form, complete and and return the completed form in your child's folder if you have a student that attends LCS, via mail, or in person to the Lourdes Catholic School front office (with cash or check enclosed), 1453 Mississippi Blvd, Bettendorf, IA 52722.  Registration forms are due by Wednesday, March 23, 2022.  After March 23rd, walk-in registrations are certainly welcome at the event.

 
What will take place the evening of the fundraiser?

There will be a live auction, silent auction for Preschool/Pre-K and K-8 art projects, dinner, drinks, wine pull, and plenty of dancing!

Are food and beverages included with the price of registration for the event?

Yes, dinner and select beverages will be provided at no charge; additional beverages will be available for purchase.

What is the attire for the evening?

All attire is welcome!  We want this to be a fun, casual evening for all.
